<VV> Turbo question, distributor numbers?

Thanks to all who replied to my post.  I appreciate the valuable information. Only question unanswered and not very important is whether the early and late have different curves or is that irrelevant?  …Any comments on pros/cons of the mentioned, “ advance/retards [distributors] made by aftermarket sources?".
