<VV> Used Crank Gear

Joel
A crank gear takes about 20 tons to break loose and about 12 to 15 tons to
press on. When a used gear is pressed back on it will only require about 10
tons or maybe even less.
Something to think about.
Was your gear heated before it was pressed on?
Was your gear pressed on and off before?
Are you using it on a standard or an auto?
Are you using it for a high performance engine?

Are there any issues with have a machine shop pull a good used crankgear
off
one crank, and press it onto another?
