The best defense against salesmen is to look like there's "no sale" and they 
won't waste their time on you.

Even better drive up in a crappy car, and ask to use the bathroom first.

Then buy the car you want someplace else and be sure to come back and thank 
them for not bothering you when you came in there the first time.
