Charles---Are you off your rocker?

It's always best--if you want attention, just start looking at cars on the lot. Dealers have millions in that inventory, and they don't want people walking around unattended.

Many folks go to dealers on Sundays to look at models and prices when the place is closed so no salesperson will bother them.

In my time as a Salesman we were required to wear suits/Sportcoat and ties every day, to project a professional image. Notice they all seem to wear polo shirts now? There's a reason-----Customers talking to a guy in a 3 piece suit don't see a profesional salesman, they see a guy who makes a ton of money ripping people off so he can afford those suits.

I'd say from your response you don't know very much about the Auto business.

I've been involved in it for 24 of the last 26 years, and I'm not the only one on this list that has similar time in the business, be it vehicle sales, service writers, parts specialists and parts dep't managers, as well as Retail Auto Parts folks.

Good Advice? Listen to people who have been there and know.

Hank
