<VV> LM manual versus power convertible tops

The easiest way to repair/upgrade my 65 power convertible top frame is to 
replace it.  I have located a manual convertible top frame which appears to 
be in excellent condition.  Can anyone advise me what steps I would need to 
take to convert the manual frame to use my existing power top mechanism? 
Alternatively, does anyone out there have a power top frame in "ready to 
use" (non-rusty) condition?
