See......if you'd just put new rings in that engine..it would be yours 
today!....And you'd had $$$  left over to buy a locking gas cap!!!  Honest!

Speaking of "running like the wind".......tonight during dinner with friends 
in a town about 40 miles away......CHP  asked about my 
Corvair.....conversation led to my running it up on a 5 mile flat stretch....107 mph / 
radar.....110/4/3.27  with 185/80/13's....Speedo said 114........but it has my custom 
distributor curve, and opened air filter housing with risers on the carb tops...

PS.....seems his -61 Valiant with 140ci  slant six will only do 87 
mph!........now he believes that Tom K.  really did go 170 at Bonnevile!  LOL!
