<VV> How to advice on replacing rear wheel bearings on LM?

Well I need some advice on how to remove rear wheel hubs? Looks like rear brake backing plate has to be removed as a unit. what do I plug the brake line with to prevent fluid loss? Does inner u-joint flange have to come off before removing unit from car? Any other advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. John Gull in Asheville NC
