Hi Bill, FYI, My A6 compressor was working good, but was leaking freon at the pulley seal. Couldn't find any body to replace it, so I bought the tool kit and did it myself. Learned a lot about the system. It's still working good. Also found out Car Quest auto parts can get rebuilt A6 compressors for less than $80. But then again you would want the original compressor left on. I replaced a Corvair compressor for a friend in Charleston a year ago.
