Karl----Freezing it is the obvious answer as Matt said.

Once upon a time (about 14-15 years ago) you might have gotten a smart-ass 
remark like "call a mechanic"---saw that one more than once.

Sometimes the answers right in front of you, but one just can't see it. 
That's what this list is for!  Here in NC they say--"Weren't holdin' your 
mouth right"!

Also a good way to put valve seats in---toss them into some dry ice, and 
warm the head up in the oven.  Motorcycle mechanics do it all the time!
