<VV> Nitrogen in tires and air

 Ask yourself this: Ever see a tire, mounted on a rim, that was dry rotted on the inside? I think the reason racers used N2 is a cylinder of the stuff is utterly dry, is at 3000 PSI, can be bought almost anywhere and can inflate a bunch of tires.

 I can't help but wonder if you use nitrogen if tires would last longer without 
dry rotting or breaking down because they would be less likely to oxidize. I 
would guess you'd also have to protect the outside somehow too. Just a thought.
