I agree wiyh Smitty- Sounds like the oil contro rings on one side of the engine are upside down. I managed to do this on an Austin Healy O'haul once. Frustrating but fixable.

>>> Please put your thinking caps on for this one. I have just had a 110 engine rebuilt ( twice). It burns oil on one side. I know because I set up a dual muffler It burns oil at high vacume. ( not at full speed). Only at idle. So much so that after you park and let the engine sit for a few minutes there is a pool of oil in the driver side cylinders. Ps. There is a pool of oil under the carb on the driver side. The Pistons are new from Clarks. The cylinders are new. And match on size. We checked that. The heads have been re done ( twice). What are we missing? Ps again The crossover tube was disconnected along time ago. Let's see we specked the Pistons for micro cracks. And ran the engine with a 1/2 cut valve cover to make sure there wasn't flooding I. The driver side. What have I missed. Any good ideas would be great. Thanks

In later years the Mount Comfort Air show was the same weekend then in the last couple of years the Speedway also held the Good? Guys show the same weekend.?Paul Fox?

People who work couldn't attend until Saturday, and by then most of the vendors were packing up by noon to go home. After the change the best day was Friday, and even so it was not nearly as well attended (by spectators and vendors alike) as the Saturdays had been before the change. The number and quality of cars on the show field declined greatly as well. And many of the car-related vendor spaces began to be populated by women selling jewelry, scented candles?and doll accessories. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but that's not what I paid my admission to see.?I don't think the show died of natural causes -- I think the promoters killed it. Just my opinion, (and that of several of my friends) of course.
