Right - the car has a non-functioning 110 w/ PG and (for now) I want to put
the 140 in with the PG, just to get behind the wheel of a Corvair after way
too long, hopefully.
So 2 issues (so far) :
1 a) 140 has dual exhaust, but it's not required (just to get it running?)
1 b) I seem to recall (as you pointed out) that the exhaust ports are bigger
on a 140's manifolds, so the 110 single setup won't fit, right?
2) Need to change bell housing (got one)
3) Need to change out pilot bushing (thanks Matt)
4) Is oil pan different? I have both so I can compare when the sun comes
back up...
Thanks!
Charlie

I'm confused - you want to put a 140 into a PG car or a 4 spd manual car?
Yep, the bell housings are different. The exhaust is different between a
110 and a 140. The 140s are different between manual and PG trans. 4
degree crank retard on PG 140.
So, please help us understand your intentions better.
Thanks
Later, JR
