Mind's going.  Frank and Mark caught it.  I tighten 3/4 turn  AFTER I can't 
twist the push rod.
 
Got to stop answering when I'm eating lunch at work.

  you do not "Twist  until you can't!!!!"


 you Twist until you feel resistance!...  per the manual!


In my decayed state... I find it easier to pull back on the top of the rocker until I feel it contact the Stem!
