Guess I'll be checking my manifold stash tonight.  Are you referring to the AIR porting in the smog exhaust manifolds?  I take it that you are talking heat from it--the reverse of the original intent.  If so that sounds interesting for an off road, no heater toy.

This could be accomplished by using the chamber already supplied on a smog 
manifold.
