As I said before.....I'm a "retired" engineer.  I also own two car repair
shops, a restoration shop, and an 8000 sq.ft. truck repair facility (still
under construction, but opening soon).  Making fuel lines is something we do
nearly every day, and it probably costs less than you buying 6' of rubber
fuel-hose at the nearest FLAPS (minus the Aeroquip....yes, that stuff is
expensive, but I don't use much in a Vair...and it ain't EVER gonna leak no
way no how!)  Like I said...I've lost a car due to a "stock" design fuel
system failure, so believe me when I tell it CAN happen to you....but not to
me!  "Fool me once, shame on you....fool me twice, shame on me!".  Peace of
mind?......priceless!
