I do not have any A/C cars, so I can't answer the question. Lots of stuff used
to unstick engines includingATF. Always include VV also as others want to see
the progress made.

First off, where do you live? How can you tell the comb chamber is
corroded? The trunk can be opened by removing the drivers side head

but does not turn in the lock? Did you try to press down on the hood,
while trying to turn the key? Some are just a bit out of adjustment.

Thanks Mike. I keep the car in a barn in Stroudsburg that I have converted.
I'm in West Caldwell. When I'm next there I'm sure I'll get that hood open.
The three combustion chambers on the drivers side had corrosion on the plug
electrodes and chamber tip. Shinning a flashlight into the plug hole I
thought that I saw more corrosion. I put about an once of that Engine
release stuff in the passenger side chambers and about 3-4 ounces on the
drivers side. Just sent an email to the "Engine Release" people asking about
it. Their instructions say product must cover the top of the piston but how
can that be done with a Corvair engine in the car? Another question that I
had was about the a/c. It doesn't have factory hose ends to the condenser.
It has hose clamps. Is that normal?
