Howdy Clyde,
The seal on the shift shaft is below the lube level. That seal tends to drip
a bit. What you have looks like a leak. I have gone to a seal size book and
found a seal with the same OD & ID only thinner and put two seals on the
shaft. This gives new sealing surfaces and two seals. Always had a drop
ready to drip just not very often did it drop.
