I also tightened mine, but once loose, the problem returns fairly soon. Such is the nature of fatigued material in thermoplastics! Hence the nut and bolt, and finally, a length of all thread screwed into the HRPT (in one case) with nuts allowing a solid metal to metal connection between all the lugs.
I do find it somewhat entertaining that the HRPT comes up at least twice a year...

The couple of times That I've had the same situation,the 10 gage red wire
connector was at fault.pulled the connector apart and cleaned the "Pins" and put
back togather.Cured the problem.In 43 years of playing with these cars,I've had
one problem involing the H.R.P.T., a lose screw.
