<VV> Electric fuel pump pressure - specs

Hi, Looking to spec out an electric fuel pump for my late model, I heard the 
range should be 2.5-4 PSI can someone confirm if this is correct. Also, any 
issues if I use a pump with 5.5PSI?

That is correct....2.5-4          5.5 psi   and 50 year old parts seldom works!
