I am now not sure if I want a 3:55 or a 3:27 in my rampy. I have a 3:27
in it now running ok with a 95hp powerglide. I just parted out a 64 FC WB
110hp with powerglide and 3:55. I am building a new motor from scratch for it
, using the correct 64 FC powerglide . Now I am thinking maybe I might like
the 3:55 better on hills etc, without THAT much difference in fuel
economy..?? I plan on driving it quite a bit in good weather on all kinds of
roads. Has anyone used both , and can comment on this? I have the 3:27 in
it for a while now for thruway cruising and fuel mileage , but raw hills
south of here are a slight challenge.
Yes I will be resealing and checking the 3:55 out carefully.
