<VV> Corvair trunks

My story:  About 30 years ago I had a late coupe daily driver.  The trunk lid was off (missing latch).  A friend & I ran it in a gimmick rally.  Afterwards we went to a park for the party afterwards.
When it started raining, we loaded the half barrel with tapper standing upright in the trunk, and drove about 3 miles to party in a garage.  I'm certain there were some people gawking at that.
