What if I needed the van or truck? If she said I'm taking the van to the store I would have known that it would be unavailable and could have asked her to take the real car. I have these types of problems all the time. They could all be avoided by being accurate with words.
> The government has systematically deprived us of our rights by using words incorrectly. Democracy to replace republic, jury of peers used to mean 12 people (jury) that knew you (peers) and now it means any number of people that are as far removed from you as possible. Crime used to mean an intentional act that injured someone and now it's anything the government doesn't want you to do. Shall not be infringed now means shall be infringed. The not isn't really important. The right to keep and bear arms used to mean you could buy, possess (keep) and carry (bear) any type of weapon (arms). Now it means you can have limited types of guns if they and you are approved by the government. Nothing has changed in the law just the meanings have been eliminated. If we had been careful with terms in the past it would have been much harder for our government to enslave us.
