Bill, if others reply take their word over mine as I'm not confident in
what I'm about to tell you.
I think the power enrichment needle you are speaking of is probably the one
for the "power valve"? If so it goes into a small bore inside one of the
walls of the carb. The top of this hole is blocked off (dead end) at the
top by the gasket and carburetor top. You should just find the needle
drops into this otherwise empty hole... I can go take a pic if you would
like.
I'm a little confused over what you mean by the "pump return needle". Off
the top of my head the accelerator pump assembly doesn't have anything I'd
call a needle.
