it has been said that silicone fluid is a NO NO in ABS brake systems  
because of it's different compressibility? i am sure there is more about it  
online.
check with your N A P A /  flaps , that came up just as i retired from  the 
business in the early 90's.
they made a big safety issue over it.
also , i do not add it to a Corvair , without a total rebuild , or at least 
 a total flush of the system with brake clean and air. better off redoing 
it  correctly the first time though.
