check the 3 screws holding the base to the bowl. they get loose due to the  
thick gasket shrinking. also check the turbo housing bolts..sounds like it 
could  be  a vacuum issue.
you can check it with the unlit torch (propane  enrichment test). some 
people make a test device by removing the torch head from  old style 
"berzo-matic" and putting a hose on it. i just aim the unlit torch at  areas i suspect 
might be leaking. if motor changes speed....you found it. there  are many 
other similar methods to do this.
