Just like people who over-restore carry things to the extreme!

Possibly  someone with crumudgeon tendencies was attempting to prove a 
point with their displeasure of how their club rules on survivors was 
written.

Would you like to see HOA rules on car shows? "Any car can be shown if 
it meets what I want to see."
