<VV> Mismatched heads

It seems like Corvairs suffered more than most other cars with the mechanics thinking "they're all the same". This mentality explains how these cars had more incorrect,mismatched components slammed together into a big heap of a car that could not be made to perform properly. Like the carb rebuilders/parts houses that would have practically 1 part number for all years, engines, and applications. As far as your question, I guess it would depend on your definition of "can be used".
I prefer numbers matching myself. I guess I don't know.
