Yep.  You'll never be bored by the clutch when stuck in traffic.  You'll 
never be bored by a howling pilot bushing.  You'll never be bored trying 
to get the slop out of a 45-year-old shift linkage.  You'll never be 
bored by a rattling flywheel.  You'll never be bored by adjusting a clutch.

That Powerglide, being bulletproof reliable and scarcely requiring a 
thought as regards maintenance, is pretty boring.
