The purple wire goes to the S terminal, and the yellow goes to the R
terminal.

Subject: Re: <VV> Wiring Schematic
Between my own stupidity in failing to clearly document which wires went
where
as I took things apart, (I believed I'd be able to easily put my hands on a
wiring drawing when it came time to put things back together), and the body
shop
guys painting most exposed wires in the engine bay, I now find myself
scratching
my head as to how things should be connected. Right now it's the starter. I
did
a search, both electronically and manually, in the CORSA Tech Guide, but
found
the only thing there is an Index listing for "Rebuilding a Starter" on P. 19
of
Vol. 2, but the page referenced doesn't appear to be included.
Also, the Service Manual doesn't show a picture of the starter/solenoid
wiring
positions/colors, not that the colors would help much 'til I scrape off the
white overspray.
So, where can I find a wiring schematic to show me what wire goes where? I
think
I remember a similar question being asked before here, but don't remember
the
answer or how far back ti was discussed. Maybe I just need to buy Bob Helt's
book; it's probably covered in there. BTW, Bob, how do I do that?
TIA for your help.
