<Neal Tire and Auto had a picture of a car "Old Bessie" which was a 64  
Corvair convertible between the third and fourth quarter Super Bowl  Ad.

Might that have been a local ad that ran only on your local  affiliate?  
I've never heard of "Neal Tire and Auto."  Maybe it's not  a national chain.  
Has anyone been able to find a video of this commercial  posted anywhere 
(e.g. Youtube)?
