 Just a thought. When I got my truck (2000 Silverado) it had a tonneau cover with a lock on the latch. Didn&#39;t like that so shaved the tailgate ( moved the handle inside ) and got a linear actuator switched on the dash. Push the button and the cover raises or lowers and when it&#39;s down you won&#39;t lift it.
