<VV> staples on LM engine to body seal

I have found staples in several late model Corvair engine seals. It was 
obviously done to expidite the installation on the assembly line as anyone 
who has dealt with them knows they are a PITA to get right. I did it one 
time with the engine installed and new rubber. Talk about a REAL PITA! Much 
easier with engine out.
