Yes, you're so right, but it makes more sense AFTER you know what they're
saying (as with so many instructions that are 'intuitively obvious' to
someone who's done it a couple of times !)

Next time I'l know, and just in case I forget, I stored in my online brain :

I like the idea someone (wuzzatyu ?) suggested, to use drill bits as round
'feeler gauges' - I had not thought of that one !
