I've always felt the pseudo "contradiction" in the name Steele Rubber made 
the name stick out...   Anytime weatherstripping comes up the name instantly 
comes to mind...  I doubt I'd remember any other part manufacturers name 
after my very first exposure to it!

Also I think it sortof makes me feel like they are good strong parts 
subconsciously,  sure I'm well educated enough to have realized instantly 
from the spelling that "Steele" was a family name and not a descriptive 
word, but still I think that impression was left somewhere in my head 
regardless.

Any way you wanna look at it, they are well known for making top quality 
parts and helping owners of less common models.
