What's the difference between 20:1 and 16:1 ratios quick steering boxes ?

I'm assuming that this is the ration of input turns of the steering shaft to
output turns of the Pitman shaft ?

What is the standard ratio ?

Which is quicker ?

Can these Flaming River boxes be used with quick steer arms, to cut the
ration in half again ?
