<VV> gas pedal bracket removal

I can't say if they are the same, but once I knew what it looked like, I 
would have been able to tackle more easily, hence posting the pix for 
someone else to see what they're doing.

After removing the nut from the shaft, the pedal is still stuck to the 
shaft, so I'm thinking tapping it on the right side to free it from the 
shaft and it should slide off, to the left ?
