All, As I have said before I have 10 pages of numbers and suggestions dedicated to this subject already when it is completed I will post it for everyone to see. I still have maybe two more pages to add. It will be counterproductive for me and you to argue this until I am finished. I apologize for sounding crass but I am finished debating for now. Thanks for your concerns.

So in the future my Communique may increase in size but I will receive it less frequently (like bi-monthly) ? I know I am being accused of being a nay sayer here on VV but why would I continue to pay $45 a year (the hgihest of any of the ten national car club I belong to BTW) and have my magazine (really the only thing I care about) sent to me less frequently? It gets bigger because it is only sent bi-monthly so in reality it isn't any bigger.
I am not anti-CORSA like I know many will suggest - crap I have kept my membership in CORSA just to help keep it alive but I think most are smart enough to see that if you decrease the frequency of the magazine and say it will get larger in return that in reality we aren't gaining anything except some postage savings for CORSA. I doubt it is enough savings to place a dent in the pie of financial problems.
The problems that CORSA are facing is deeper than the cost of the Communique. It is declining membership (although a lot is probably due to death of older members but not all) and failure to grow. What is the BoD doing to address those two issues?

Right now it makes no difference. They receive the Communique. The printed Communique is not going to disappear anytime soon. It may however increase in size and be delivered less frequently in the future. Therefore CORSA will need a vehicle to communicate with it's members and it's non CORSA chapter members in between issues. Either through e-mail or the website.

What about the porbably 50% of CORSA members who do not belong to a chapter? How do you plan to poll them or take their view into account?

Good morning to all, I would like to update you on the progress of the e-mail membership poll. For those of you that don't know what I am talking about I have requested information from CORSA chapters as to how many of their members have an e-mail account. As of this morning I have received 34 replies. The average of the replies I have is 82% of chapter members have an e-mail account. Of the 34, seven chapters have less than 75% with e-mail. The highest percentage is still 97% but the lowest is now 40%. I am still very happy with these numbers. It in no way means that all these people could or want to receive an e-communique. It does however prove that CORSA could communicate valuable information to a majority of it's chapter members through e-mail or on the CORSA website. Thank-you all for the great response so far.
