VV> Early Padded Dash install
I did not glue mine down. The trim holds it in place. The car is stored
inside and is in the sun only for car shows.
I have not had any problems. I think others have done it this way.

Subject: <VV> Early Padded Dash install
I am getting ready to do my second Early model padded dash replacement. I
had problems on the first one trying to position it perfectly before the
glue stuck.
Who has tried using soapy water to give you a short adjustment time before
the glue bites, per Elvis King's August 2007 Communique Tech Tip? How did it
work?
Any other tips?
Thanks
