Absolutely. But a lot of classes do NOT, yet the winners in those
classes generally have carbs.
I am specifically talking about classes that allow any non-forced
induction. Modifieds come to mind. Yes various classes mandate
carbs like Pro-Stock and most SS classes along with many (but not
all) Stock class cars. I've seen some Pro Mods running
superchargers with carbs on top of them... ;)
