Not what you'd like to see, but try adjusting it first -- it'll probably
take a couple attempts to get it right, but not too tight.

Normal for an old steering gear -- use a good grade chassis lube in the
gear box instead of 90W when you add lube -- thicker won't leak as much
and will work fine for the purpose, esp when mixed with the old oil left
in the box. Just stick the end of the grease gun in the hole and have
at it..
