What club would have pockets to raid, maybe a few hundred bucks. They would
have to go for all of the members, their family, the dog, everyone that
breathed that day, etc. Those class action suits go nuts when the right
shyster is doing it.

Be careful about saying you don't need insurance.  CORSA was once sued when 
hot coffee spilled on a playful child in the hospitality room.

You mentioned some moving events under the auspices of you local club.  If 
something were to occur during a club sponsored or sanctioned event, don't 
you think a smart lawyer would be looking to get into that club's pockets?
