I am going to assume you made a novice mistake and failed to use an
ample dose of silicon spray on the fan belts.
Scott Trunkhill and I have raced the WTBRT # 112 for over 500 runs
and used only three or four fan belts over a period
from August 2003 to the present. We had one belt failure when we
failed to replace a belt that had "set" on our second
engine for almost two years without the engine being cranked. Had we
siliconed that belt it probably would not have broken.
Sooooo..........get Lucy a nice big can of aerosol silicon spray and
enjoy your next racing experience.
