Maybe so, but, although it's relatively easy to draw a 3-wide head and rig  
some sort of connector between the individual head castings, I don't think 
it's  easy to build that way; better to have a strap connection bolted to 
the valve  boxes; building the intake manifold internally may have been the 
cheap way for  Chevrolet, but it was a stinking way engineeringwise--it 
wouldn't be either easy  or cheap for the aftermarket.
