<VV> "Corvair Begninnings: 50 Years Ago"--Great article!

I don't want to start one of those "I-got-my-communique-and-you-didn't"  
threads but...I got my communique and Dave Newell has done it again with a great  
article, "Corvair Beginnings:  50 Years Ago".  In fact, Dave has  out-done 
himself with this one!  Never-before-seen (at least by me) photos  of Corvair 
prototypes accompany the well-researched text.  I'm glad that  we, as a club, are 
marking this entire year by commemorating the various 50th  anniversaries of 
occurrences that lead up to the introduction of the Corvair to  the public on 
October 2, 1959.  You can bet that I will pause on January  23rd to think 
about the first production prototype built 50 years ago that  day.  The article is 
just the first in a series marking this golden  anniversary year and I can't 
wait to read the ones to come.  So, if you're  out there in cyber space 
reading this, Dave, a big thank you.  You can bet  I'll be more impatient than ever 
awaiting the arrival of my communique the next  few months!
