<VV> halogen lights

Now I WOULD like a pair of asphalt-melting off-road aux lights on my
everyday driver. I'd blast every one of those morons who assult oncoming
traffic with their aux lights. Flashing the hi-beams (my only available
lights) just doesn't get the message across.....

Been there....done that!  On our tow vehicle!  Back when the world was a lot
younger, we did some endurance racing, and Zelmot was one of our sponsors.
They provided a couple sets of 2 million candle-power (each!) off-road
lights that in a "former life" were actually landing lights in a com-bloc
IL-76!  After the race, we had this set of absolute paint-scorchers sitting
on the shelf in the transporter.  Then on a trip to Brainerd MN, at the end
of 23 hours on the road....we encountered a set of morons that were living
proof that most driving lights shouldn't be sold without taking a competency
test and proof of at least a triple-digit IQ....and got an idea!  At
Brainerd, in between clouds of mosquitoes, I mounted a pair of the
Zelmots....aimed for the driver!  We only used them twice when all else
failed.....and made our point!
