Hi all

Quick question.  Since it's dry here after a deluge type rain storm...and I
just couldn't resist, I fired up the 63 Monza and took her for a ten mile or
so ride.   On start up I noted the usual clicking til the lifters quieted
down...but also heard a kind of low frequency howl that lasted from startup
til the lifters were quiet..then it just stopped the howl.

And no, the Monza isn't a dog...in fact the car ran great....I LOVE Stabil.
And there was no further howl.  And a warm start didn't evince it either.

The car had been sitting for about a month, indoors in an un heated garage.

I wonder if the fan bearing is warning me of problems ahead.

All insight  gratefully accepted.

(I already know the joke....."ya don't like hearing that strange
noise...turn up the radio")
