<VV> Need Paypal Charity Account Advise ? - NO Corvair

I am hoping there is someone on our site who has some experience setting up a paypal account to accept charitable donations. I have just learned that I have a fellow school teacher whose wife had emergency surgery two days ago for a brain aneurism and they are now in dire straits financially, as in unable to make their next house payment etc., as she can obviously not work for a while. While we have a lot of folks at school who are willing to donate, getting the money together and to them during our winter break poses a significant logistics problem, and I thought a Paypal account that folks could send donations to might be just the thing. There is some limited information on their website, but I would really like to chat with someone who has done this. Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year,
