Thanks for the input. I'm guessing you haven't been involved in the
registration process at any sizeable shows, or if you have, I would love to
see how you do it. I've run registration at a number of Virginia Vair
Fair's, and the term 'one armed paper hanger' comes to mind. I don't think
saddling the registration folks with another task would be viable. When
registration opens, things get crazy because everyone wants to register at
the same time. If it were just pre-registration, it wouldn't be a big
problem, but there are so many who can't commit in advance and just show up
at a show. Helping them to figure out their registration fees while helping
to make sure everyone's packet gets properly stuffed can be difficult for a
state wide show, but I wouldn't want to deal with it on an International
show level.
Please continue with the ideas, it keeps everyone thinking.
