The plug is "plugged" into the inner fender like a rubber grommet. There
is a groove in the plug and the sheet metal hole is slightly smaller
than the OD of the plug, but the same size as the groove. Just use a
small screwdriver or other pry tool to gently work the plug through the
hole. It WILL go.
