Apologies for not hitting this topic in a timely fashion (pun intended), 
but, if you can tolerate some photos of a non-Corvair and metric 
directions, the basic procedure is the same for your Corvair, or any 
other car --

Note that the step #10 test is for a four cylinder car, and your GM 
product does not have the mark on the dist housing, although if you have 
it "correct", nothing is stopping you from making your own mark ...
